Last updated: 11 September 2026

MINTY LABS SAS (“Minty”) is responsible for the processing of personal data carried out to operate this store, except for processing for which Shopify or another provider acts as a separate controller.

1. Data controller

MINTY LABS SAS, 329 Rue des Carpières, 01170 Ségny, France — contact: contact@minty-card.com.

2. Data that may be processed

Depending on how you use the store, we may process your first and last name, contact details, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number when provided, customer account information, messages sent to support, data relating to your orders and returns, payment information needed to confirm the transaction, and technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, security logs and data generated by cookies or similar technologies.

Full payment card details are processed by the payment providers enabled in the store and are not intended to be stored directly by Minty.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data needed to manage the cart, orders, payments, delivery, after-sales service, returns and customer relationships on the basis of contract performance or pre-contractual measures. Some data is retained to meet our accounting, tax, evidentiary or consumer protection obligations. Fraud prevention, security and store improvements may be based on our legitimate interests, while respecting individuals’ rights. Marketing communications and non-essential cookies rely on your consent where required.

4. Recipients

Data is accessible, to the extent necessary, to Minty and its providers: Shopify for e-commerce infrastructure and hosting, payment providers, carriers and logistics services, support providers, and technical, analytics or communication tools actually enabled in the store. Data may also be disclosed when required by law.

5. Shopify

The store uses Shopify. Shopify processes certain data necessary for the platform’s operation, security, payment and service improvements in accordance with its own commitments and privacy documents. For merchants based in Europe, the main contracting entity specified by Shopify is Shopify International Limited, Ireland.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside France or the European Economic Area. Where required by applicable regulations, these transfers are governed by a recognised mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses and appropriate supplementary safeguards.

7. Retention periods

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and, where necessary, then archived for the periods required or permitted by legal, accounting, tax, evidentiary or legal defence obligations. Data used for direct marketing is deleted or made inactive when consent is withdrawn or retention is no longer justified.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The store uses cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation, including security, the cart, payment and remembering certain preferences. Analytics, personalisation or marketing cookies may also be used if the corresponding features are enabled. Where consent is required, these cookies must only be set after you have made your choice. You can change your preferences through the cookie management tool or settings available in the store, where provided.

9. Your rights

Under the conditions laid down by the GDPR and French law, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, exercise your right to object, request data portability where applicable and withdraw your consent at any time for processing based on it.

To exercise your rights: contact@minty-card.com. Proof of identity may be requested only when necessary to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

10. Security

Minty and its providers implement technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. As no system can guarantee zero risk, we adapt these measures to the risks and features actually used.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the store, its providers or applicable regulations. The update date appears at the top of this document.
